Exploring Barnie's Coffee Flavors of 2025

Have you ever wondered how we choose the next flavors for the year with Barnie's Coffee? We have to be honest its a combination of a number of things: what tastes good, what's trending, what you choose to bring back this year as a flavor from the Vault, what works for Barnie's and what adventure Barnie himself wants to go on in 2025.

Join us as we get together and taste the flavors of 2025. The planning process starts right in the middle of the year. Barnie's Coffee discusses trends and options with flavor companies across the US to decide what's working for Barnie's Coffee over the years, what's not working for us, what the coffee industry says is trending with all of you, and what's popular for the flavors in the years ahead. They make recommendations on timing for launch and when to add flavors for the season. This way our team can narrow down the Top Flavors and taste all to decide the best for the upcoming year. 

We trust our senses as to what we feel you'll enjoy and we stay true to who we are without going too far off from the ordinary. We trust our instincts and keep authentic to who we are. And even though we take risks along the way we know what you like and we improve on that every year season after season. 

We invited our Marketing and Ecommerce teams as well as the team that produces it all for us, whether it's roasting the beans, or flavoring the beans or maybe it's packing it into the box and getting it ready for your doorstep! It was a group effort at Barnie's Production & Distribution Center to taste, discuss, and create adventures for Barnie in 2025. We want you along for the ride and we want you to choose what flavors we should bring back. 


We invite you on the surveys to vote and tell us your opinion and we're here to tell you we'll bring back 4 in the year from our past that we should keep! You all have your favorites let us know which ones need to return. 

On our teams, we focus on five categories we find most helpful in differentiating one cup of coffee from another:  sweetness, body, acidity, flavors, and the finish

If you're just exploring how to truly taste your coffee, it's worth learning these four important steps: smell, slurp, locate, and describe.

What else do we need to know before getting started? We've researched a lot of flavors in our past, but we've also researched what worked and what didn't. As a team we decided on what we think you would like best. 

In 2025, the flavor trends are leaning toward tasty. We can tell you that much without telling you too much of our Limited Time Offerings for 2025. We don't want to ruin the surprises we have in store for you.

Our first release will be the Limited Time Offering Bourbon Brown Sugar and we can't wait for you to try it. It's so tasty. More details ahead.
