Did you know the John C. Hitt Library location on the UCF campus serves Barnie’s Cold Brew, Lattes, and Seasonal Favorites during school hours, but also every UCF coffee bag purchase gives back $1 to the food insecurity program?
Feel good with every sip! Barnie's Coffee loves to support our local schools and we are pleased to be a part of local events with students.
In Fall 2024, we participated in the Autumn Farmers Market on campus where we spoke to UCF students about our UCF Hitt Library location, our soon-to-be open 63 South location with Barnie's Coffee and our partners at Aramark and UCF Dining. 
At the Fall Farmers Market, our Director of Operations, Alexis Rodriguez, and Director of Marketing, Shannon Wolfgang, presented the Knights Pantry a check donation of $3246.13 as part of the UCF Cares and Food Insecurity Program. This program allows each coffee bag purchase to give back $1 to UCF Cares.
Barnie’s Coffee also donated Cold Brew for the day for students and staff to sample, plus we had fun handing out our fractional pack samples of Barnie's Blend and Sweet Vanilla Bean Ground Coffees to inform students of our various flavors and of our company. This way, too, they could enjoy a pot of coffee with their friends and family in the comfort of their own home.
We had many opportunities to explain the brewing options of cold brew, single serve cups, whole bean and ground coffee with Barnie's Cold Brew Coffee Expert, Kai Chang, attending the same event.
Kai Chang, has worked with Barnie's Coffee for many years and has a wealth of knowledge not only on the cold brew process, but with coffee itself. Barnie's Coffee created 3 UCF Special Blends to be sold at the cafe and our online store for students, teachers, and alumni.
Barnie's Coffee continues to support our local establishments in Central Florida to include Se7en Bites and Ten10 Brewing Company and we are very proud to support our local schools of UF, as well as Seminole County Public Schools, Rollins College, and the Orlando Science Center.
